Dr Yang graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
He has experience working as a resident in multiple medical and surgical specialties including general surgery, upper Gi, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic, urology and orthopedic.
He completed his pain fellowship training at University Hospital Geelong and interventional pain training at Pain Matrix Geelong. He has also completed Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine by the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2018 and 6 months pain fellowship at a tertiary cancer center in Melbourne.
His interests include rural and remote medicine, palliative care and cancer pain.
Yang aims to provide holistic approach to manage individual’s pain, integrating titration of medications, interventional techniques, if indicated, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
