Dr Jacquelyn Nash - Pain Specialist
Jacquelyn Nash grew up in country Victoria and went on to graduate from Monash University as a medical doctor in 2004, commencing her career in hospitals in 2005. She spent the following years working in various medical settings throughout Victoria, whilst completing specialty training as both an Anaesthetist and Specialist Pain Medicine Physician.
While becoming a fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine she was awarded a Merit award for her performance in the Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellowship Exam; and presented as a winner of the Victorian Regional Committee's inaugural FPM Trainee's Scientific Meeting.
She believes passionately in treating all patients with chronic pain individually, as each person's journey with pain is unique to them. She treats patients within a holistic framework utilising multi-disciplinary team-work, evidence based medicine and interventions.
In addition to her work at Pain Matrix, Jacquelyn also consults as a Visiting Medical Officer as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician to Barwon Health and is involved in teaching pain medicine trainees.
Jacquelyn is the 2017 Spring Meeting Convenor for the Faculty of Pain Medicine and a member of the FPM Scientific Meetings Committee.
