Dr Angela Chia - Pain Specialist


angelaDr Angela Chia is highly committed in  acute, chronic and cancer pain management. She is passionate about intergrating interventional pain technique into multidiscplinary pain management. Her particular interest in pelvic pain has lead to major development in research projects and key teaching roles in the state.  

Dr Michael Vagg – Pain Specialist


MickMichael Vagg is a consultant in rehabilitation and pain medicine. He graduated from  Monash University in 1994 and spent several years as a uniformed Medical Officer in the RAAF before undertaking vocational training. Dr Vagg completed a Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) in 2004. He subsequently gained Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2006.

Dr Sunny Lee - Pain Specialist

Dr Lee is a Pain Specialist and Anaesthetist interested in interventional pain medicine for musculoskeletal pain. He obtained his training in Royal Prince Alfred in Sydney and St Thomas Hosptial London. He is interested in ultrasound guided procedure for joint pain, back pain and neck pain. He recently introduced the new technique of Platelet-Rich-Plasma injection that have resulted in impressive outcomes for patients.

Williemena Ong - Pain Specialist


WilliemenaDr Welliemena Ong is an Anaesthetist and Pain Specialist. She graduated from the University of Malaya and subseqently attained her anaesthetist degree from the National University of Malaysia before taking up pain training. She started working in Victoria in 2012. She is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZA). 

Carlos Bello - Physiotherapist

Carlos


Utilizing a multidiscplinary approach, Carlos has a special interest and post-graduate training in Clinical Pilates, Complex Cases and Chronic Pain Rehabilitation. 

Carlos was the lead presenter in a Pain Management Program from 2014-2015 and is also a reviewer for Elsevier where he critiques content of physiotherapy books before publication. 

Dr Margaret Sherburn - Physiotherapist

Margaret


Margaret is a senior lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, and until very recently was head of the Physiotherapy Department at the Royal Women's Hospital. In these roles she has research, teaching, clinical and managerial responsibilities. 

Tanya Tynan - Practice Nurse

Tanya TynanTanya has worked in nursing for over 20 years. She has a specalised interest in the field of chronic pain and has worked with chronic pain patients for over 15 years.
